Import instruments - Basses Earlier models of these Kramer import guitars and basses (NS-2A, NS-2B, NS-2C, NS- 6A, NS-6B, NS-6C) did not have a serial number. Most had a four digit serial number located on the back plate (plastic electronics cover) that has "NS" before the number.
